My Dinky Toy Story
My name is Malcolm Bradburn and like many of my age I collected and played with Dinky Toys
when I was a lad. In fact I spent nearly every penny of my pocket money on them. I was known amongst family and friends as 'The Dinky Toy boy!' my box of faithful Dinky Toys
travelled with me virtually everywhere. I loved them then and I still do!!!!
Growing up got in the way of my obsession for these endearing toys but a few years ago I started collecting them again and the obsession is well and truly back!
And Now
Having amassed a sizeable number of Dinky Toys
and Corgi
Toys
I decided to turn my hobby into a small hobby/business hence the creation of Dinky Diecast. But it is not really about profit it is about the enjoyment and satisfaction of seeing the wrecks bought back to their former glory. The proceeds from Dinky Diecast go towards buying more play worn models for restoration. The vintage diecast
models
I obtain are in a very tired and poor condition. My mission is to save as many of these models as I can by completely restoring them to a very high standard so that they can be proudly displayed once more.
