THE QUESTION OF COLOUR: Please note, that in the case of the restored models offered for sale on this website, the colours chosen by me are ( in my opinion) something like the original colours used by Dinky Toys and Corgi Toys and Tri-ang but are not sold as an exact match of any particular original colour. There were many shades of colours used by the factories over the years and with the addition of ageing it is my opinion that it is impossible to find an exact match in modern paints, especially as the composition of modern paints is somewhat different in that lead was used in the paint of many of the original models. Where I have finished a model in a colour that was, as far as I know, never used on the original models I have clearly marked as a Code 3
